Project details
Since December 2021, the 120 kV RO–Kisenge high-voltage line has suffered extensive vandalism, leaving the city of Kasaji and nearby communities without access to electricity for several years. This prolonged outage has negatively affected households, businesses, public services, and overall economic activity.
The project will rehabilitate damaged pylons, crossarms, and transmission infrastructure to rapidly restore a stable and secure electricity supply. Once completed, Kasaji will regain reliable power access, enabling economic revival, improved living standards, and modernization of the city.
