Project details
Despite being one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Lualaba Province, the Tshatuta site remains underutilized due to the lack of reception infrastructure, limited access, and absence of visitor services. Tourists currently have no facilities for dining or overnight stays, which significantly limits the site’s tourism and economic potential.
The project will equip the Tshatuta Waterfall with a modern restaurant-bar and platforms for the installation of prefabricated, eco-friendly bungalows designed to provide comfortable and sustainable accommodation. This development will improve visitor experience, boost attendance, and establish Tshatuta as a major ecotourism destination in Lualaba.
