Lualaba: Emirati Companies Sign Agreements with the Province
Companies from the United Arab Emirates signed memorandums of understanding on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Kolwezi, with the Provincial Government of Lualaba, in the presence of Governor Fifi Masuka Saini.
The ceremony, held at the Congress Village, took place before several provincial and diplomatic authorities, including Vice Governor Clément Mufundji, the Emirati Minister of Foreign Trade, and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Francophonie.
These historic agreements—praised by the Governor as the result of the active diplomacy of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi—focus on investments in agriculture, mining, tourism, infrastructure, and sports, in support of Lualaba’s 2024–2028 Five-Year Development Plan.
